Despite its vintage look and feel, Rolex Submariner 14060M was treated from host to upgrades during his lifetime. Introduced initially as a Rolex Submariner 14060 in 1990, was the successor of the legendary 5513 (introduced mid-century).

The watch, with its 3000 series caliber, brought modern elements such as sapphire crystal glass, indexes and applies a unidirectional bezel. It lasted until 1998, when minor changes in the mechanism created caliber 3130 and the name “M”. In 2007, Rolex Submariner 14060M became a certified chronometer, adding new lines of text on the dial.

Rolex Submariner 14060M was the latest model in the series of this kind. There are a lot of elements here that evoke the spirit of the original Submariner in 1954. When he was retired in 2012 , was the last Rolex sports model characterized drilled holes in loops, a clasp of the bracelet stamped, stamped end links and a bezel with aluminum insert: all hallmarks of the original model.
