Ceasul special in editie limitata, produs in doar 1918 piese, omagiaza aniversarea a o suta de ani de la Marea Unire Pe 1 decembrie 1918, la Alba Iulia, toate provinciile istorice locuite de romani s-au unit pentru a forma o singura tara, Romania.

Cadranele ceasului pun in evidenta traditiile romanesti prin cercurile lor armonioase, inspirate din dansul popular romanesc, hora.
Hora este reprodusa pe fondul secundarului periferic, unde sunt simbolizati 9 dansatori care se tin de mana si formeaza astfel un cerc. Fiecare om reprezinta una din cele 9 regiuni ale Romaniei, dansand impreuna asa cum au facut-o pentru prima oara la 1918. Culorile steagului Romaniei, rosu, galben si albastru, sunt inserate in mod elegant in partea de jos a cadranului. Pentru a sublinia simbolul horei, la cadranul rotund al orelor si cel al secundelor s-a adaugat o fereastra rotunda pentru data, o particularitate a acestei editii limitate.
Acest model emblematic pentru Tissot a fost ales anume pentru ca designul fatetat al cadranul orelor aminteste de “Coloana Infinitului” creata de sculptorul Constantin Brancusi.
Pe marginea cadranului exterior, triunghiurile albastre preiau motive traditionale din sculpturile si broderiile romanesti. In arta populara, aceste triunghiuri simbolizeaza portile care ne conduc catre lumile ceresti si viata vesnica.
Limbile au fost albastrite pentru a reproduce nuanta de “albastru de Voronet”, astfel denumita dupa culoarea exterioara a manastirii medievale Voronet din Moldova.
Cureaua din piele de vitel, cu textura de aligator, evoca si ea, prin culoare si cusaturi, albastrul de pe steag.

Also note the use of alternating polished and brushed surfaces, which helps lift the feel of the watch substantially.
